WHEEL WASHING

Wheels should be washed with plain water, or water with dishwashing liquid, soap, shampoo. Do not use aggressive detergents. Do not wash wheels with a pressure washer, especially the area near the hub because the high pressure of a thin stream of water can get into the hub bearings and the drive system, accelerating their wear.

TIRES MOUNTING AND PRESSURE

You need to choose the right tires for your wheels/rims. Only dedicated hookless rim tires are used for hookless rims.

For hookless tyres and rims, do not exceed a pressure of 5 bar.

In the case of hook-type rims, adhere to the pressure range specified by the tire manufacturer (information can be found on the tire).

Only use plastic tire levers to mount and demount tires.

WHEELS INSPECTION

At least once a year, wheels should be checked for lateral and radial run-out, spoke tension and the condition of the bearings and drive system.

In the case of gravel or MTB wheels used in extreme conditions (frequent riding in mud, rain, frequent jumps) inspection is recommended more often.

TUBELESS SYSTEM

In the case of tubeless tires, milk should be refilled with the appropriate amount approximately every 3 months.

When releasing air and when inflating, the valve should always be in the highest position on the wheel.

BRAKE DISCS AND CASSETTE INSTALLATION

Brake discs and cassette should be tightened using a torque wrench according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in components loosening or damaged threads (either in the component or at the hub).
